Fractures of the pelvis bones

Fracture of the pelvis bones is a severe trauma of the musculoskeletal system connected with the damage of the bone tissue, organs of a small pelvis which causes excessive bleedings.

Fracture of the pelvis bones has the following symptoms:

• Traumatic shock connected with severe pain
• Unconsciousness
• Inner bleeding in the pelvis area
• Epidermidis pallor, outside lesion area
• Sudden fall of the blood pressure
• Change of the lower extremity length

Treatment

Conservative treatment is possibly only for some fractures. But if a patient has upright instable pelvis or fractures with big fragments separation, then a surgical restoration of the pelvis integrity.

In our clinic experienced doctors perform metal osteosynthesis of the pelvis bones. Depending on the type and complexity of a fracture, a respective fixator is chosen and placed. After surgery, a patient is allowed to do passive movements with lower extremities and to sit.
